Understanding Our Services: Frequently Asked Questions
1. Our drone operators ensure clear visual contact with the drone throughout its flight.
2. We primarily conduct flights during daylight, but exceptions are made 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes post sunset. Night waivers allow additional flexibility.
3. Our drones don't exceed an altitude of 400 feet above ground level or a structure. For instance, if a building is 150 feet tall, we can fly 550 feet in the air directly above that specific building.
4. For safety reasons, flights over non-participating individuals are strictly prohibited.
5. Also, it's an FAA requirement that we avoid flying within a 5-mile radius of any airport unless we've received prior approval from the FAA.
